Teacher's Manual Third Grade Unit, How We Live Now..And Long Ago was published 1972 by The Navajo Social Studies Project. It is one of a series of Navajo-culture-based social studies units produced by The College of Education of The University of New Mexico in cooperation with The Division of Education of the Navajo Area, Bureau of Indian Affairs. A unit was prepared for each of 13 grade levels, beginners through 12. The book has thick paper covers, measures 19" x 12 3/8" with 35 pages, 17 with illustrations by Le Roy Condie. It has 8 teaching lessons.
