    Description

This soft back book of the Indians of the Mesa Verde talks about all the people that have lived on the Mesa Verde in Colorado.  I believe they first talked about the Pueblo people that lived there and built their homes in the rocks and stones they carved out.  Does mention the Ute Indians and just refers to other Indians.  Haven't read entire book, but is very interesting of what I have read.    About the Spanish settlement there and naming it the "Green Table", or Mesa Verde.  History of prehistoric bones being found there and  much more...   Great for kids and families that live in Colorado or doing a school report.
    Thanks for looking!
